Telehealth therapy is convenient.
Things like traffic, finding parking, or coordinating childcare can make traveling even short distances complicated. Telehealth therapy makes it possible for you to meet from the comfort of your home, office, hotel room, or anywhere you have access to the internet.
Telehealth therapy protects your health.
Telehealth therapy kept clients and therapists connected and safe during the pandemic. Telehealth therapy continues to help eliminate the spread of germs and allows clients to receive therapy even when they are feeling under the weather.
Telehealth therapy is supported by research.
Research has shown that telehealth therapy is just as effective as in-person therapy. In fact, a 2018 study found that telehealth therapy worked for reducing PTSD symptoms and clients were just as satisfied with their experience as the in-person therapy clients.

Colorway Wellness is an out-of-network provider that does not accept insurance. However, many insurance companies provide reimbursement for out-of-network services. For your convenience, Colorway Wellness partners with Mentaya, a platform that helps clients get money back for out-of-network therapy sessions. -
If your insurance plan offers out-of-network benefits, it means they will cover a portion of the cost when you see a therapist that does not accept insurance.
Unlike in-network providers, who bill your insurance directly, with out-of-network providers, you pay for the session upfront and then submit a claim to your insurance for reimbursement.
Insurance companies often reimburse a percentage of the session cost, usually after you meet an out-of-network deductible. For example, after you meet a $1,000 deductible, your insurance may reimburse 50%-80% of the session cost.
Out-of-network benefits give you the flexibility to choose a therapist based on your needs and preferences, not just those in-network.
